ASIC is looking for a Full Time Parts Clerk to work the Parts department. ASIC's hours of operation are 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. You will need to be able to pass a FAA drug screen and background check.
- Keeping inventory of aircraft parts and tools
- Making sure tools are maintained in proper working order
- Utilize internal computer program to issue, return, process parts/tooling from stock
- Verify, pull and prepare shipments/receipts
- Data entry including but not limited to: emails, inventory counts, creating requisitions
- Operate forklift to load and unload shipments
- Retrieves and signs out parts from the supply room for mechanics
- Communicate professionally with vendors and team members
- Answer phones when needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old or older
- Be able to do basic math
- Be able to read English
- Possess valid driver's license
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Pass a drug screen and background
- Previous experience with tracking and on-line shipping (UPS, FEDEX, Customer Portals, Pentagon)
- Having a knowledge of airline parts and/or tools preferred
- Team player - work well with others
- Self-motivated - be able to work without supervision
- Detail oriented / quick learner
- Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Works well under pressure
- Ability to evaluate and solve problems
Physical and Other Requirements:
- Able to lift 60 pounds routinely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- May require sitting in front of, and operating, a computer for extended periods
- May require prolong standing, climbing ladders, and bending
