Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our opening team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, menu planning, and kitchen management to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision
- Plan and create innovative menus that meet quality standards and exceed guest expectations
-Create and update recipe books
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budget control
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new dishes and enhance existing recipes
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with staff and guests
-Manage 3 different revenue sources; retail, steakhouse and catering
-Cook with integrity
-Visit farms and markets to find the highest quality ingredients from our local area
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef
- Strong background in banquet, bartending, shift management, food preparation, hospitality, dietary department, team management, food production, and food service management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Creative flair with a passion for culinary arts
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
-Ability to cook with fresh, all natural ingredients, no seed oils, sustainable products
