Job Overview:
We offer first-hand hospitality and tourism experience daily at Patoka Lake Marina and Lodging. The Clerk/Reservation Specialist utilizes our cash register system, a Quickbooks Point of Sale System. The Clerk/Reservation Specialist is responsible for ringing up the day to day customers for different purchases at Patoka Station or Patoka Lake Marina, included but not limited to; lodging & boat rental reservations, fuel, groceries, deli items, boat accessories, work orders, house account payment, etc. Also, the Clerk/Reservation Specialist is responsible for answering questions about our lodging, boat rental, and other rental units at our facility and making reservations on our reservation software for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Take reservations over the phone and in person in a professional manner
- Answer guests’ questions and telephones using proper phone/business etiquette.
- Stay up to date on Patoka Lake Marina facility knowledge and general knowledge of Patoka Lake.
- Become proficient with our Point of Sale system.
- Answer daily inquiry emails in a timely, professional manner.
- Maintain a safe/clean work environment for yourself, other employees, and customers.
- Responsible for your cash drawer as assigned to you during your scheduled shift.
