Xscape Theaters is looking to hire a General Manager for our theatre in Louisville, KY! Do you have theatre, restaurant, retail management or guest services experience? Theatre General Manager - Louisville, KY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Build relationships with staff, managers, and guests
- Implement and follow company standard operating procedures including maintenance, repairs, cleaning & maintaining a safe environment
- Ensure guest service needs are met with adequate staffing, training of all staff members and maintain proper flow throughout the building
- Create employee schedules that balance financially feasibility and ensures guest satisfaction
- Recruit, train and develop staff; coach team members and provide corrective actions as needed
- Ensure all employee related paperwork for new hires, staff changes and terminations are submitted to HR in a timely manner
- Investigate and determine corrective actions for any deficiencies found via internal and/or external means
- Conduct performance reviews of team members and management staff; provide recommendations for promotions based on merit
- Communicate operational and employee issues with corporate management staff, act as the hub for communication for the theatre
- Process daily and end of period reports including coding and approval of invoices
- Work with the Corporate office to schedule rental and group functions
- Develop a team to help staff screenings/promotions and rentals
- Adhere to budget guidelines and develop systems to control costs and improve profitability; create strategy to maximize revenues and improve market share
- Open availability to work 50 – 55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays
- Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Some College preferred
· 3 years Management experience preferred
· Food Handler card a plus
COMPUTER / APPLICATIONS SKILLS:
· Ability to navigate Point-Of-Sale system preferred
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
