COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING IS PROVIDED FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE NOT YET ACQUIRED EXPERIENCE.
MOST BACHELOR'S DEGREES QUALIFY, including Criminal Justice and Education.
Substance Abuse Counselors work directly with our students to identify their rehabilitative needs while collaborating with our clinical team to develop individualized treatment objectives and plans.
Counselors receive comprehensive training to become effective group and individual counselors to assist students with achieving their clinical goals.
The position works Monday through Friday from 2:45pm - 10:45pm. No weekends.
Opportunities for advancement exist within the first year, including promotion to a position that offers a four-day workweek.
The Academy Schools also provides the training and supervision necessary to earn advanced addictions counseling certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board.
