Client Services Associate
The Client Services team manages the platform configurations and change projects for apree health’s book of business and health plan partners. The Client Services Associate will manage a high volume of individual customer projects, review health insurance plan documentation and translate into our internal platforms, and drive deliverables across internal teams to ensure timely launch. Close attention to detail, resourcefulness and adaptability are imperative for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience driving complex projects to completion end to end, knowledge of the US healthcare system and the ability to read and interpret health insurance documentation, as well as a background in configuring and maintaining internal platforms to support various business operations.
The Client Services team will also spend a significant portion of our business cycle planning for and executing on “annual refresh” work, which requires scoping customer decisions and changes to benefits from one calendar year to the next. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented environment and has excellent communication skills. You are a self-starter who enjoys “rolling up your sleeves”, working in a fast paced environment, and has the confidence to deal with ambiguity.
Note: the ‘busy season’ for this role is October - January, when the bulk of the roll over work takes place; applicants should expect to take not more than 1-2 business days off during this period.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret comprehensive coverage summaries for medical, dental and pharmacy health insurance plans in order to translate/input values into apree health’s software platform
Drive and manage a high volume of projects at a time. Track task completion using Asana program management platform. Provide consistent and thorough status updates on all projects
Partner with internal teams to ensure understanding, complete scoping, and timely delivery of configurations
Work with third parties to define and test data integration, run internal testing of product configurations, gather feedback from the customer and/or internal teams and implement requested changes and feature enhancements
Assist in investigating and solving issues related to platform configuration and integration
Provide best practice guidance to customers and other internal teams
Continuous contribution to process improvement
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in related field preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years experience in a project management role, or similar (background in health insurance and/or SaaS company a plus)
Understanding of US health insurance, and experience interpreting/translating health insurance plan design
Experience working in an implementation or operations role using software to configure output for a user interface
High attention to detail
Ability to manage and interact with different teams (customer, engineering, data management, product, external partners, etc.)
Passion for helping define and improve operational best practices with our health plan partners
Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage a high volume of competing priorities and risks
Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond under the pressure of a fast-paced technology company
Familiarity with Asana or other project management software. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Suite & Jira is recommended

Compensation: $57k-$79k/annual salary & bonus eligible (national average, premium markets may vary)
