You will be responsible for excellent customer service as you greet guests and coordinate with vendors to ensure the event goes smoothly. As a Venue Assistant, you have the opportunity to work closely with all departments in the wedding industry, thus essential to have good communication skills and excellent people skills. Responsibilities:
Welcome and direct guests
Handle Check-ins and Check-outs.
Assist with set-up and tear-down including but not limited to cocktail tables, linens, chairs, seat cushions, etc.
Maintaining cleanliness and order of interior, including housekeeping.
Ensuring restroom supplies are kept stocked.
Effectively direct and communicate with vendors while enforcing facility standards throughout the day. Example: keeping vehicles off grass, making sure all trash is picked up.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to make sure they deliver according to the event schedule and plan.
- Enforcing all rules of the venue. Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure smooth and timely execution of event.
