Burgerfi is a Fun, energetic Fast Casual restaurant serving All Natural, never frozen grass fed Angus beef with no hormones, no anti-biotics and no steroids. We fresh cut our fries and onion rings daily and also have one the best freshly made Veggie burgers available today. In addition to our Veggie burger we now offer the Beyond Burger which is a 100% Vegan burger. We serve craft Beer, featuring local breweries as well as bottled and draft wine. Our atmosphere is young and vibrant with hip music and a highly energetic kitchen.
- Must have ServSafe Protection Manager Certification.
Roles and Duties:
- Ensure quality and cleanliness requirements are met all day, every day. Lead by example. Help with cost management (food, labor, paper). Open or Close the restaurant.
- Ensures that all guests feel welcome, receive great service, and have an outstanding experience on every visit.
- Ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, safety and serving standards.
- Controls cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
- Makes employment decisions including hiring, discipline, and termination.
- Works or assists on production stations where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
- Continually strives to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
- Supervises and participates in kitchen and dining area cleaning and maintenance.
- Prepares all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
- Ensures that all products are received in correct unit count and condition, and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures.
- Oversees and ensures that restaurant policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
- Schedules labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
- Is knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administers prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules.
- Fully understands and complies with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
- Resolves customer complaints quickly and effectively.
- Schedules and conducts periodic meetings with employees to discuss and/or correct problem areas or areas of concern.
- Communicates regularly with company owners to create, execute, and monitor a business plan to focus on sales growth, staff development, and increased profitability.
- Our ideal managers possess the following:
- At least 2 years of experience in restaurant supervision or management; full-service or fast casual restaurant experience is desired
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel)
- Ability to be on one’s feet at least 8 hours per day and also be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50lbs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—clear and professional demeanor
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize with efficiency
- A friendly and outgoing personality – must enjoy interacting with and servicing others
- Sincerity, honesty and candidness with team members and guests alike
- Fill in when needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests
- Must have the stamina to work 50+ hours.
