Gateway Pediatric Therapy seeks Facilities development assistant to ensure maintenance of clinic spaces. These duties involve ensuring the facility environment is safe, clean, and conducive to the therapy sessions.
Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that all facilities are in operable, working conditions while maintaining safe and hygienic environments to Gateway's standards.
- Inspect and maintain therapeutic tools, such as toys, furniture, and materials to ensure they are safe and functional.
- Collaborate and work closely with the facilities, internal development, clinical teams. Work cross departmentally on projects on an as needed basis.
- Travel as needed and on call to locations in times of emergencies or disasters
- Maintain grounds on an as needed basis or in times of landlord failure
- Assist with clinic specific challenges regarding client and/or staff accommodations
- Assist with fire frills, fire inspections, and other safety measures as needed from managers
- Assist in new site development pertaining to moving, building furniture, and nesting
- Address any structural issues or repairs needed within the facilities, such as fixing doors, walls, lighting, and painting.
- Monitor and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure they are functioning properly and provide a comfortable environment for facility operations.
- Address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, or malfunctioning fixtures. Additionally, perform routine checks on electrical systems and address any issues to prevent safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- Able to lift at least 30 pounds
- Prior handy-worker experience and knowledge preferred
- Must have open availability M-F
- Reliable transportation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks while maintaining organization
