The Role
Job Summary - Finance Office Administrator
eCircular provides electronic waste recycling and IT asset disposition (ITAD) services. We specialize in the secure and responsible disposal of electronic waste, including computers, laptops, servers, printers, and other electronics. We also refurbish and sell electronics on multiple ecommerce platforms.
We are looking for an organized and self-motivated Office Administrator who will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The right candidate has the ability to effectively communicate via phone and email, ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. This role will work directly with the Finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
- Coordinate activities throughout the company to ensure efficiency and maintain compliance with company policy
- Manage agendas, travel plans and appointments for upper management
- Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls and other forms of correspondence
- Support bookkeeping and budgeting procedures for the company Controller and CFO
- Create and update databases and records for financial information, personnel and other data
- Track and replace office supplies as necessary to avoid interruptions in standard front office procedures
- Submit reports and prepare proposals and presentations as needed
- Assist colleagues whenever there is an opportunity to do so
- Assist controller with month-end and year-end closures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.65 - $18.04 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
