We are looking to add a talented and motivated associate to our New York-based Investor Relations/Business Development team.
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for helping to maintain and grow CFM’s investor relationships and engagement. You will work closely with our experienced team to strengthen our partnerships with some of the world's leading investors and to identify and pursue opportunities with new investors across different segments. In this position, you will have the opportunity to create a positive impact by helping us to better serve our existing partners and connect potential future investors to one of the foremost quantitative investment firms globally.
This position is well-suited for individuals in the early to mid-stages of their investment management career. The position is NYC-based and minimal travel is required.
Base salary $100-130k USD
+ variable compensation.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Work with our senior Business Development managers to build and strengthen existing CFM investor relationships by providing exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with our senior Business Development managers throughout the entire sales cycle, from identifying new opportunities to finalizing investments with both current and potential investors. This involves tasks such as conducting market research, organizing investor outreach campaigns and events, prepping meeting materials and follow-ups, handling diligence requests (RFPs/DDQs), responding to investor requests, and drafting bespoke marketing materials.
- Maintain a robust customer relationship management (CRM) database to facilitate fund raising efforts. This includes but is not limited to inputting and maintaining investor information and distribution lists, updating sales pipelines and prospects, and documenting interactions with investors.
- Collaborate with colleagues across functional teams and geographies including Client Services, Research, Product Specialists, Compliance and Investor Operations to enhance CFM’s investor communications.
- 2-4 years of experience in the financial industry or related field (eg management consulting).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical/problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.
- Desire to work in a team environment.
- Experience working with data in excel and designing presentations in MS Powerpoint.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems.
- Ability to distill complex topics into salient points, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to self-organize and work on deadline driven projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Series 7 license may be required.
- Experience working in an international corporation is a plus
