We are looking for a friendly dental receptionist to join our team. We need someone who will help make things run more efficiently and pleasant for patients and the dental team. Compensation is negotiable and based on experience.
Qualifications/Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests
- Perform registration process for patients
- Coordinate incoming/outgoing lab cases
- Handle provider credentialing and insurance network matters
- Negotiate fees with insurance companies
- Schedule appointments
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls
- Insurance verification and billing
- Appeal insurance denials (when applicable)
- Carry out office procedures smoothly and efficiently
- Prepare treatment plans and financial arrangements for customers
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Obtain medical clearances from physician offices (when applicable)
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain tidy waiting room, staff lounge, and receptionist desk
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing, emailing, etc
