Job Summary: Club on the Go is a mobile initiative bringing Boys & Girls Club programs directly to youth in their neighborhoods. The program aide is responsible for planning and implementing the daily programs and activities within the Club on the Go Mobile Program. (www.bgcharfordcecil.org/clubonthego/)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately promote the Club and programs to potential Club members and their families.
- Plan activities with direction from the Area Manager.
- Lead daily activities including program implementation, organization of Club on the Go vehicle, ensuring daily plans are followed by Club kids and staff.
- Ability to build and maintain positive and professional relations with youth and their parents, when necessary.
- Assist in all areas of Club on the Go operations as requested by the Area Manager.
- Regularly attend, participate in training and staff meetings.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward the positive qualities of the work environment.
Skills/Knowledge Required
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to be productive and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must possess basic math and money handling skills.
- Excellent communication, listening and computer skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year experience in implementing programs in a Boys & Girls Club; or similar organizations.
