Seeking an Inspirational Site Director for Magic Memories Jeffersonville

Key Responsibilities:
- Champion the well-being of our site, including staff, children, and families, ensuring a harmonious and safe environment.
- Lead by example, embodying our core values and ethics, while managing the center’s daily operations, staff performance, and financial health.
- Act as a key communicator, fostering unity among staff, families, and the community to advance our mission and vision.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and education for our children.
- Engage in continuous leadership to attract and retain high-quality staff, providing them with guidance and professional development opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A robust understanding and practical experience with educational and operational platforms such as Kangarootime, Curriculum, CRM, and more.
- Flexibility to step into various roles as needed, ensuring the center’s standards are upheld.
- A Director’s Credential Certificate
- At least 5 years of industry-related experience.
- 1 year of Administrative experience preferred
- One of the following Degrees:
- A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in ECE, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
- A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in the above categories.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in ECE, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.

Other Requirements:

Physical abilities required include the ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without hearing aid, the ability to see and read newsprint with or without corrective lenses, to speak and be understood under normal circumstances, to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds, and to use arms, hands, legs and feet with or without corrective device to accomplish the job, including evacuation of the building during emergencies.
Annual Training Requirements: The Director is required to meet the development standards set by quality assurance programs in which Magic Memories is enrolled with. This can be found listed under the “staff qualifications and professional development” in the company handbook based on the quality assurance program level the center is at during any given fiscal year. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be able to legally work in the US.
