Job Summary:
Runners help servers bring food out to tables, make sure orders are taken in order at the line, and make sure items are plated and prepared correctly before they are brought out to customers. Runners also help disassemble trays and keep the dishwashing line running, restock utensils, napkins and other dining room needs.
Busser/Runner Functions:

Competencies / Skills:
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment and work with a sense of urgency.

- Solid understanding and application of federal, state, and local food sanitation regulations.
- Working knowledge of computer programs, data entry, and point of sale systems
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
- Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations and requests while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
- Previous hospitality and/or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be reliable and have flexibility for scheduling.
Work Authorization
Must be able to provide documentation that shows you are authorized to work in the United States. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Education / Experience / Credentials:
Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in kitchen or service focused environment. It is the employee's responsibility to secure and maintain status of all required certificates, licenses, or registrations when required by local, state, or federal government agencies. SNHD approved Food Handler Card
