Accounting Coordinator Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Coordinator. They will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for employees, as well as administrative accounting tasks, and overseeing office operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Accounting/payroll and Office management, preferably in the auto industry. This position will be based in Campbellsville, Kentucky
Accounting Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the store to ensure that all transactions are recorded in compliance with dealership accounting processes.
- Oversee tasks to ensure that financial functions are reconciled monthly including (but not limited to): Cash, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payable, manufacturer statements, payroll administration, and vehicle deal commissioning, inter-company accounts.
- Process payrolls for all employees.
- Organize & maintain personnel records, including new hire paperwork,employee files.
- Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheets.
- Prepares tax reports, tax deposits and tax returns in a timely, accurate manner.
- Support management with various tasks and projects as needed.
Accounting Coordinator Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous Accounting Office Management experience
- Experience in the Auto industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll and accounting principles and regulations MUST
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background screening in accordance with local law/regulations.
