To accomplish this, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor (PM) to join our team and make a positive impact. We are seeking a dedicated caregiver that will use their energy, creativity, thoughtfulness, and skills to help our residents live a life full of purpose, celebration and fulfillment through connecting with them each day.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans for resident care.
- Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs.
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders.
- Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and the staff member’s scope of practice, capabilities, and qualifications.
- Supervises and directs Charge Nurses and CNA's.
- Administers medications and treatments for assigned residents and assists as needed with other residents.
- Completes E.H.R Documentation as required and validates other team members documentation as needed.
- Validate Neuro Checks are completed during the night shift for all applicable residents.
- Audit Medication and Treatment Carts and Medication Rooms.
- Review Shift Change Controlled Count sheet for completion by nurses at the beginning of their shifts on ALL Medication Carts.
- Assist with triage of residents prior to physician notification to ensure that appropriate nursing measures and interventions have been taken.
- Notify DON/ADON for assistance with triage.
- Maintains confidentiality and always protects sensitive Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Provide nursing care and according to the Physician's orders, care plans, established standards, policies, and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Texas.
- A minimum of one (2) years' nursing experience in a long-term care, sub acute or acute care setting is preferred.
- Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
