Places food and beverage orders, delivers items to tables and ensures guests enjoy their visit to the coffee shop.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Takes accurate food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve food and beverage orders to guest tables according to venue specifications and to engage with guests in a professional courteous and efficient manner and complete side work.
- Maintains knowledge of all restaurant menu options and answers guests’ questions about the menu.
- Delivers food to guests, ensuring that the proper order was received and that beverages are refilled.
- Communicates regularly with on-coming shift staff and the chef on duty to address issues and concerns.
- Ensures that all food is served within health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Attends training classes required by management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
