IV Clinic Nurse/Medical Assistant (Integrative & Holistic Health)
Job Summary:
We are currently hiring for the role of IV Clinic Nurse/Medical Assistant in our esteemed Integrative & Holistic Health office. As an IV Clinic Nurse/Medical Assistant in our office, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care by administering and managing intravenous therapies. Your exceptional bedside manner, technical proficiency in IV administration, and commitment to outstanding customer service will ensure a positive experience for our patients. We operate as a cohesive team, and your ownership and dedication to patient care are highly valued. This position also includes cross-training as a Medical Assistant to support clinical duties and contribute to our holistic approach to healthcare.
Education Requirements:
● IV Certification
● LVN/LPN NC License or CMA NC License
● BLS Certification, strongly preferred
Relevant Experience:
● 1 year or more of Nursing IV experience

● Proficiency in IV administration and venipuncture/phlebotomy.

Position Responsibilities:
● Warmly greet patients in the IV/clinic setting, fostering a welcoming and comfortable environment.
● Perform peripheral venipuncture in adherence to established institutional policies or protocols.
● Prepare all necessary materials for delivering prescribed IV treatments and care.
● Observe, recognize, and assess possible adverse reactions related to IV therapy, taking prompt measures to prevent reactions.
● Ensure technical capability and safety in the use, care, and maintenance of IV equipment.
● Document comprehensive information related to the preparation, administration, and termination of all forms of IV therapies and clinical procedures.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe IV/Clinical Department to uphold a conducive healing environment.
● Comply with legal standards, procedures, and regulations to promote a healthy work environment.
● Schedule and order lab tests for patients as required.
● Contact patients to communicate lab procedures and clinical results while updating patient medical record information.
● Obtain necessary certifications for medical practice equipment and devices through appropriate training.
