Lifescene formerly Family & Children’s Service (F&CS) has been serving residents of Lynn and surrounding communities since 1885. F&CS is a multiservice community nonprofit organization that strengthens the life skills of families, children, and individuals of all ages. We offer access to a full range of services that help participants develop skills to build stable, productive, and healthy lives. Our programs address specific needs, offering proven and professionally managed services in multiple languages through center-based and in-home settings. With offices in Lynn and Chelsea, F&CS offers home-based and group parent leadership training, support groups, youth development services, community health education, case management, support and stabilization services, advocacy for court-involved youth, and emergency financial assistance.
About the Job:
Position: Clinician Family Alliance Program
Salary: $60,500.00 a year with a $2,500 sign on bonus

Family Alliance is a Family Stabilization Team which consists of licensed clinicians and case managers who work with families that are currently involved with the Department of Children and Families. The team works in collaboration with individuals and their families in their homes and communities to stabilize, strengthen, and build relationships with community providers, family, peers, and school. Our clinician and case manager conduct home visits up to three times a week, to provide the tools for families to stabilize and work towards their goals and treatment plans.
The ideal candidate is an energetic team player that is motivated to work collaboratively with community partners, families, and individuals to meet their personal and DCF action plan goals.
Family Alliance Clinician Responsibilities:
· Provide weekly in-home counseling to children/families/parents by Utilizing the Solution Focused Brief Therapy model.
· Work collaboratively with families towards completion of DCF action plan goals.
· Conduct an initial psycho-social assessment for families.
· Create and enter treatment plans and progress reviews on Virtual Gateway.
· Provide additional clinical support by attending court hearings, DCF meetings, foster care reviews, and school meetings.
· Make timely and necessary referrals for long term community support for families.
· Maintain current files/progress notes.
· Maintain weekly contact with DCF and Family Networks.
· Participate in weekly group clinical supervision/treatment meetings, individual clinical and programmatic supervision.
· Assist with training of new staff/ interns.
· Participate in activities to promote F&CS and Family Alliance at local DCF offices.
· Varied hours to meet the needs of the program.
Qualifications:
- Experienced, licensed/license eligible MSW or master’s level clinician with a degree in a related human service field.
- Prior experience working families who have been placed at-risk.
- Understanding of trauma, and family support programming.
- Demonstrate cultural competence with an ability to work with diverse populations, within the community and with agency staff members.
- Experience with providing telehealth services using several platforms.
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours M-F
