Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a CMA, Med Tech, or Med Aide in a healthcare facility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and empathy for seniors and their unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Administer Medications: Accurately administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of medication administration and resident care.
- Assist with ADLs: Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Collaborate: Work closely with nursing staff and healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents.
- Monitor Health: Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing team.
- Ongoing Education: Participate in continuous training and education to stay updated on best practices.
