Behavior Technician
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing behavioral health services to individuals in need. As a Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for implementing behavior management techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and patient care under the guidance of a supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions to support individuals with behavioral challenges.
- Provide social work support and assistance to clients in various settings.
- Monitor vital signs and assist with medical records as needed.
- Work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and provide necessary support.
- Assist in patient care activities and ensure the well-being of clients.
- Support individuals requiring PTSD care through appropriate interventions.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors.
- Engage in crisis intervention when necessary to ensure the safety of clients.
Experience:
- Prior experience in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and interventions.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder is a plus.
- Ability to manage medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Experience in crisis intervention and managing challenging behaviors is beneficial.
