Our talented fashion design team — the Nordstrom Product Group (NPG)— develops, designs, produces and sources 16-plus private Nordstrom labels. From traditional to trendy, this team is shaping the styles and looks our customer love.
As a Designer of Men’s for one of our Nordstrom Product Group (NPG) brands, you will own the seasonal brand design for your apparel categories. You’ll create products that exceed our customer expectations - making them feel good and look their best! Experience in contemporary or luxury markets is a plus.
A day in the life…

Conceptualize, accurately sketch, and execute through production for assigned categories based on business need ensuring it supports Brand Design Concept and line plan needs.

Design original and commercially viable product.

Supports design leadership to build and curate all visual tools needed to support seasonal story telling for their categories / brand team.

Research materials, select fabric and trims.

Customer centric – continuous research to understand customer, trends, and shifts in the competitive landscape.

Effectively collaborates with Senior Designer.

Builds strong, synergistic relationships with all cross functional partners.

Promotes a culture of continuous improvement that pushes innovation and accelerates expected outcomes.
You own this if you have…

Bachelors degree in Design, preferred
-
Minimum 5 years experience in design industry

Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently or as a team.

Proficiency in Adobe CS (required), MS Office suite and strong ability to hand-sketch. Able to quickly adapt to new technology and systems.

Strong time management and multi-tasking skills

Strong understanding of industry and trends

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $80,000 - $155,000 annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
