Job Description:
General Responsibility: Work with the leadership team to manage the overall operation of the child care center.

Providing a safe, healthy, consistent, positive, caring environment to all center children.

Be available to work in any classroom at any time based on the needs of the center.

Supervise staff, Manage Schedules, assist in staffing levels.
-
Implement curriculum and assist with continuous curriculum improvement.
-
Develop and maintain rapport children, parents, families, and employees.

General office administration

Training Staff on all standards, curriculum, and expectations.
-
Maintain a high level of center appearance, safety, and maintenance.
-
Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) management, and implementation.

Assist with the development and maintenance of the food program (preparation, standards, and implementation).

Utilize ProCare Software to manage daily activity of children, families, and employees.
-
Ensure profitability, ensure maximum enrollment, and maintain financial reports.

Assist with any administrative function including time cards and payroll.

Join and bring ideas to the Leadership team, to continuously improve the quality of the center.

Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications: * Must meet state background check, education, and licensing requirements.

Must be CPR and First Aid certified or be willing to obtain within 30 days.

Have an Associates in Early Childhood Education or a relevant field (Bachelors preferred).

CDA certification or willing to obtain within 6 months.

Have a minimum of 3-years of experience in a child care classroom.

Have a minimum of 1-year administration experience.
-
Have a minimum of 1-year Title XX administration.
-
Have a minimum of an Ohio CPL Level III or higher.
-
Proficient knowledgeable in all SUTQ standards.
-
“Can do” “Do what it takes” Attitude.

Expert in Ohio PFCC/Kinderconnect.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office, and excellent Computer skills.
