Responsibilities:
· Process quarterly sales tax reports and ;
· Record and maintain all transactions and ledgers including online and wholesale sales;
· Assist with processing reports and various data analysis projects;
· Assist CPA with year-end account maintenance;
· Assist with offsite CPA to close books on a quarterly basis;
· Reconcile transactions;
· Generate and maintain accurate and timely accounts payable reports and assist to prepare outgoing checks to vendors;
· Perform forensic accounting on accounts to ensure historical accuracy and consistency;
· Preparing tax reports;
· Reconciling and balancing accounts;
· Verifying and posting transactions for subsidiary accounts;
· Handling accounts payable/accounts receivable,
· Additional responsibilities and duties as needed.
Requirements:
· You are beyond organized. You’ve been maintaining task lists you’re entire life;
· You have at least two years of relevant work experience in accounting or bookkeeping;
· Knowledge and proficient use of various office programs and platforms, including but not limited to Word, Excel, QuickBooks on line, and
· Oversee the successful and timely builds in QuickBooks;
· You enjoy streamlining processes and discovering solutions to problems big and small;
· You are extremely self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage workloads;
· You communicate easily with executives, are a terrific team player, and are comfortable mediating conflict;
· You have the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks efficiently;
· Pursuing degree;
· You have impeccable written and verbal communication skills;
· You have excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Successful negative result of a drug screen
· Clear Criminal History report
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Quicken or Sage.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial records.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
