KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for handling inbound and outgoing calls. Contacting patients by phone and/or through a HIPAA-compliant messaging service.
2. Verify patient demographics as well as obtaining insurance information necessary to process the prescription claims.
3. Refers customer to Pharmacist or Supervisor when the customer requires specific counseling.
3. Work with fellow staff members as a team with the guidance and assignment from Management to address Patient queue lists.
4. Be detailed oriented when confirming prescription deliveries, assuring Patient address, payment method information, etc. is being properly documented.
5. A willingness to learn effective methods to execute multiple calls, and understand the pharmacy protocols required.
6. Bilingual a plus but not required.
