The Clinical Coordinator facilitates and oversees the flow of the clinic. Assists in the hiring and training process of medical assistants. Works with the human resources department and providers to determine the care team that medical assistants will be assigned to. Assists with daily scheduling of medical assistants to ensure proper coverage throughout the facility.
Organizes and assigns workload in accordance with priorities and exercises sound judgment in various situations. The clinical coordinator is a key part of the providers’ care team and serves as a direct link and communicator between patient, provider and other health care professionals whenever there is a need. Keeps management informed of any issues that arise.
Qualifications: - Current RN , License
Experience in medical records management and documentation - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
