Overview:
Overland Christian Schools is in the process of seeking a qualified, high school teacher. The teacher is responsible for maintaining a controlled, learning environment in which the students have the opportunity to reach their full potential in all areas: spiritually, academically, emotionally, and socially. The teacher prayerfully helps students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.
Basic Function:
The teacher is responsible to develop lessons, teach, and maintain a safe, learning environment for high school students. Primary subjects taught will be World History, Bible, Cultural Geography, American Government, U.S. History, and Computer Coding. (detailed job description is available upon request)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in secondary education preferred
- Experience teaching high school students preferred
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant subject area or willingness to participate in a program to complete such a degree may also apply
- Possesses a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ for eternal life.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
