Duties:
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and measurements to ensure consistency and quality
- Decorate cakes and pastries as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bakery
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a culinary or baking role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and measure ingredients precisely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Customer service skills to interact with customers and take special orders
