Overview:
We are looking for a personable, motivated, engaging individual with good interpersonal and communication skills. Applicants must hold a current PTA license or graduating from an accredited PTA school in the next couple of months. We would like someone interested in orthopedics, spine and sports rehabilitation. This person should enjoy patients and delivering complete a comprehensive treatment intervention.
We are a small private office that prides itself on developing good relationships with our patients and referral sources. Our new PTA needs to become an integral part of our treatment team, one who will embrace our one-on-one treatment paradigm, and should be able to work well with our PT, Office Manger and Insurance Manager. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilize trigger point therapy and other techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility
- Assist with occupational health programs and provide support for work-related injuries
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
- Proficient in providing patient care and conducting therapeutic exercises
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records

Pay: $58,000.00 - $72,800.00 per year
