The position:
We are currently hiring full time and part time Occupational Therapists to work in Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer, and Wasilla, please respond to this post if you are interested in working in any of these areas.
We operate a mobile therapy practice, providing Occupational Therapy in community settings including client's homes, parks, trails, and other locations which which will facilitate effective treatment based on the clients needs. As such you will be required to travel between clients’ homes or wherever you have decided to provide treatment. This approach to Occupational Therapy allows for greater creativity, improved understanding of the client’s specific needs, enhanced carryover of the HEP and education, and improved outcomes for our clientele. We encourage outings and exploration of novel recreation as a means to achieve goals, and will provide the resources to enhance the way you deliver therapy.

Jessica White, PT, DPT and Phil White, MS, OTR/L established Therapeutic Health and Home LLC to improve the way therapy is delivered and to create a supportive, equitable, and appreciative work environment for all therapists.
Our largest served population is pediatrics; however, many of our providers practice within specialities including behavioral health, TBI rehab, pelvic health for adults and pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, hippotherapy, feeding therapy and lactation. We pride ourselves on providing opportunities for a multidisciplinary approach with all clientele, as we have PT, OT, and SLP on staff.

Compensation:
We adapt to the needs of our therapists and offer robust benefits packages custom tailored to each individual's needs. We offer a variety of compensation packages for different caseload levels, including PTO and CEU reimbursement for part time schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with families and scheduling patients to meet your caseload requirements.
- Documentation including evaluations, progress notes, daily notes in SOAP format, including administering standardized assessments, and adherence to federal/private insurer regulations.
- Communication with patients/caregivers, doctors, and allied health professionals, to ensure our patients get the best possible care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Experience in treating pediatric clients is preferred
- Preference given to those with an active AK state OT license
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Compensation/benefits: Base of $85 per treatment hour
- 25 scheduled treatment hours per week
