JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of QAPI and Regulatory Director is responsible for operating and monitoring the QAPI program, ensuring the clinical practices of the organization follow all federal and state compliance through regulatory guidance and ensuring quality of care through program integrity of Hospice Care Plus. The QAPI and Regulatory Director supervises the Staff Development Coordinator and works collaboratively with the Director of Home Care, Director of the Compassionate Care Center, and the CEO to ensure compliance of all hospice programs through Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- RN from an accredited school of nursing (Bachelors preferred).
- 5 years of nursing experience with direct experience in a health care setting and compliance
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Record usage and tracking and trending of healthcare data.
- Assists in the planning, implementation, operation, and evaluation of Hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families through QAPI and Regulatory review.
- Monitors all agency activities for compliance with Medicare and Medicaid requirements and ensure policies and procedures are in place.
- Responsible for the overall development, implementation, and evaluation of Hospice Care Plus clinical programs that meet federal and state guidelines through input of the Clinical Committee, Medical Director and CEO.
- Develop a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Plan yearly.
- Proactive program monitoring of HIS, CAHPS survey data and Customer Service Program as part of QAPI.

- Supervision of the Staff Development Coordinator and Education Program
