Position Overview
The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in driving the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical functions. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights and support strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in financial analysis, preferably within the SaaS industry.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis:

Support the development and implementation of the annual budgeting process, including revenue, expense, and capital expenditure forecasts.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis, providing insights into business performance.

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.
Forecasting & Modeling:

Develop and maintain complex financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysis.

Collaborate with departmental leaders to gather inputs and assumptions for accurate forecasting.

Continuously improve forecasting accuracy by analyzing historical trends and market conditions.
Business Partnering:

Act as a strategic partner to various departments, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance.

Work closely with the executive team to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Provide financial expertise to support key business initiatives, including product launches, pricing strategies, and market expansion.
Data Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into business performance.

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members to support their professional development.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the SaaS industry.

Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.

Advanced knowledge of financial systems and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and BI software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making processes.
