Award-winning locally owned European bakery is seeking additional Bread Bakers to keep up with our increasing production volume! The ideal candidate is detail oriented, fast paced, self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, a strong team player, and conversational in English. Candidates MUST have prior experience in a similar Artisan Bread Bakery atmosphere. Ideally candidates will have a culinary degree.
This is a full-time position that requires weekend availability. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Creating artisan breads, rolls, etc using traditional hands on techniques
- Monitoring Fermentation processes and ensure optimal flavor and texture
- Safely operating and maintaining equipment such as deck ovens, convection ovens, proofers, and mixers
- Following strict safety and sanitation guidelines and food safety standards
- Handcrafting and shaping dough to create unique and visually appealing breads
Pay is commensurate with experience ($18-$25/hour plus benefits). We offer a company wide health plan including dental and vision, paid vacation, and paid sick/family emergency days.
