The Assistant General Manager is responsible for the hiring, firing, training and development of the staff and location. They will also be responsible for the stores sales performance, gym up keep, staff scheduling, and customer service. Experience in the fitness industry is preferred. No formal education is required. Sales experience is also preferred.
Membership / Personal Training Sales – The Number One Focus of the General Manager role is centered around membership and personal training Sales.
Brand promoters – when you love your gym, others will too. The club manager establishes relationships with businesses and influencers in the community to promote the brand.
Team builders – leading a team and driving results through motivation and fun is a key component of being a store manager. This person is hired to inspire all members of your team to foster a trusting, positive environment members and guests want to engage with.
