Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our construction team. The Assistant Project Manager will assist in coordinating and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all parties are informed and working towards project goals.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Monitor project progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Assist in the resolution of any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
- Maintain and promote a safe working environment and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Support the Project Manager in managing project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a construction-related role, such as Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Understanding of construction safety and regulatory requirements.
