We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our esteemed legal team, specializing in commercial real estate, general business, and corporate law. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of transactional matters and provide essential support to our attorneys and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, and closing activities.
- Conduct research on property titles, zoning regulations, and other relevant legal issues.
- Prepare and file various real estate-related documents, such as deeds, mortgages, and lease agreements.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
- Support attorneys in drafting and reviewing general business contracts, corporate governance documents, and transactional agreements.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm procedures.
- Assist with corporate entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing expense reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- 2-3 years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in commercial real estate, general business, or corporate law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with real estate and corporate transactional processes is preferred.
