As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our facility. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our building, equipment, and grounds. Your work will directly contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients on their journey to recovery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Inspect and maintain the facility's grounds, including landscaping and outdoor areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure all maintenance needs are met.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a healthcare or substance abuse facility.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and building systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
