Group Insurance – Client Relationship Manager
This position assists the President of BenSource in the roles of client service
Group Insurance - Service
In general, you will work in the group insurance department and coordinate with a team of three peers, ensuring that our processes are working and that clients are happy. This includes roles such as:
- Assist group insurance clients and their employees with all billing, claim/appeal and service issues
- Assist employees to understand and enroll in benefits
- Conduct orientations with clients regarding administration processes and online portals
- Stay current and advise clients on their insurance policies and tax/legal requirements
- Maintain friendly relationships with insurance vendors to stay current on changes in their rules/processes
- Process new business, including completing required paperwork and agent licensing
- Document interactions with clients in our client management system
- Maintain a system of tracking issues and meet weekly with support staff to push new business and issues along
- Diligently follow up to ensure issues are rectified and items are processed correctly
- Utilize online quoting systems to enter census data and obtain insurance quotes
- Analyze insurance quotes and plan designs to choose closely matching plans
- Create and modify spreadsheets, prepare client presentations for the agent to present to the client
- Follow checklists to ensure all steps are taken on installations and renewals, including post renewal
- Follow BenSource processes on Cobra, ACA tracking/reporting, PCORI, ancillary insurance
Group Insurance – Employee Navigator Benefits Administration system
- Build a group out in Employee Navigator including benefits, class structure, premiums, functions
- Maintain the client EE NAV portal with necessary updates to benefits, premiums, and census changes
- Create reports ad hoc, learn new features as they are offered
- Build renewal, manage renewal, close renewal, and formulate final enrollment reports
- Assist employees with online enrollment, assist employers with managing their portal
- Orient new clients with basic training on the EE NAV system
Key Traits of the ideal client account manager
- 5 years of experience in managing medical and ancillary insurance products for a broker
- 5 years of experience with BenAdmin systems and Client Relationship Management Technology
- 5 years of experience dealing directly with business owners, HR, and Payroll managers

Employment details
The candidate will start as soon as possible. We offer top pay commensurate with skill and experience. This position is a regular, full-time associate of BenSource LLC, and will be offered the benefits of regular, full-time associates of BenSource LLC, such as medical insurance, dental and vision insurance, life insurance as well as retirement plan matching contributions, and paid time off.
