The main responsibility of this position is to safely maintain, diagnose, repair, and replace components for wood working machinery. Must have solid knowledge in electrical schematics for machinery. Works in accordance with safety regulations and procedures at all times up to and including the following:
- Able to work independently as well as within a team as needed
-Able to quickly respond, troubleshoot, and perform unplanned repair on machinery
- As part of the Maintenance Team, you would be responsible for preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance
- Able to troubleshoot and repair 120v., 240v., 480v. equipment
- PLC knowledge/troubleshooting is a plus
- Ability to work with OEM tech support for repairs
- Have a working knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Have a working knowledge of pneumatic systems
- Ability to read schematics (pneumatic/electrical)
- Maintain and repair facilities
- Bilingual is a plus (Spanish/English)
- Other projects as assigned
- Evaluate problems and determine root cause corrective actions as to woodworking process, tooling, or machine malfunction
- Maintain a positive attitude in the workplace, supporting company policy and actively encouraging and developing a team spirit
