JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Manager utilizes industrial technical knowledge while performing marketing, customer service and sales functions. This position establishes direct sales contacts and relationships with customers requiring special or specific products or product lines and maintains customer support contacts to ensure to meet contractual obligations and supports customer needs, including technical support.
Expect to work at the offices at least three (3) days per week but no more than four (4) hours per day at the office and be out of the office 50% of the work time as a target.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
・Initiate, research, develop, establish, and maintain customer and market network and take care of customers' complaints.
・Outside sales activity as well as inside sales activity such as making quotations, sales log & reports, and market analysis. After-sales support shall be performed as well.
・Review market analyses and meets with customer discuss their current and future needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them.
・Analyzes sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements.
・Administer contracts for sales of the following products: Gland Packing; Gasket products handled
・Conduct presentations (company introduction, product introductions, technical explanations, etc.)
・Plan, attend and organize exhibitions.
・Prepare detailed monthly written reports regarding all sales activities and summaries of results.
・Perform any and all additional duties as required by company management.
・Required to travel throughout the US. Travel, travel to other countries may be required.
・Provide sales training and support for sales team.
・Frequent visits and contacts with customers when not in the office.
・Manages the Sales Department and sales support staff and representatives within a company
・Forecasts anticipated market sales, sets sales quotas, and advises upper management about sales performance.
REQUIRED SKILLS
・A Bachelor’s Degree (four (4) year college degree) or equivalent is required.
・Good understanding of seal products like Gland Packing, and Gasket.
・Excellent English communication, presentation, writing and speaking capabilities.
・Must be able to read and speak English fluently at a native proficiency.
・Service engineering skills and good understanding of field operations in the above-mentioned industries.
・Computer skills with Word, Excel, Power Point, E-mail, etc.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
・Good experience and good network in Power, Oil, Chemical, and Fertilizer industries
OTHER DUTIES
・Must submit detailed monthly reports regarding the activities to supervisors. The detailed report must include the date, name of the company, name, and title of the persons in charge of the company, topics discussed, and the amounts of sales generated.
・Accountable for effectively developing and administering appropriate sales contracts and special pricing with specific commercial accounts and users.
・Identification of product pricing issues and problems at the commercial account level. Coordinates and corrects contractual pricing issues and problems.
・Contacts with officers, sales managers, marketing, sales reps, administration, engineering, and product development employees and managers.
