Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Coffee Shop/Diner Manager who is passionate about inclusivity and has experience working with individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure a welcoming environment where all patrons, including those with disabilities, feel valued and respected.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:

Manage day-to-day operations of the coffee shop/diner, ensuring smooth functioning of all aspects of service.

Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, including individuals with disabilities.

Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, coaching, and support.

Schedule shifts and manage payroll effectively.
Customer Service:

Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained.

Train staff to provide attentive service to all customers, including those with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met.
Inclusivity and Accessibility:

Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote inclusivity and accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

Collaborate with community organizations and disability advocates to enhance accessibility and awareness.
Financial Management:

Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.

Implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability while controlling costs.
Quality Control:

Maintain high-quality food and beverage standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in products served.

Address customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a manager in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a coffee shop or diner setting.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities and a strong commitment to inclusivity.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
