JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager of Stewardship Services is responsible for the shared implementation of a results-driven, donor-centric fundraising plan for the Philanthropy Department. This role will engage in a variety of donor outreach & stewardship activities as part of a larger Stewardship program, as implemented by the Director of Philanthropy Operations & Stewardship.
This position will be responsible for the accurate and timely receiving of gifts & fulfillment processing, generating & fulfillment of acknowledgements and other stewardship communications; ensuring information is thoroughly maintained on donor records, and informing Directors on actionable donor information in a timely manner & with appropriate context, and assist with prospect management & research in furtherance of major gifts fundraising.
The role will manage the process of creating donor communications and stewardship reports (including videos, photos, letters, stories, infographics, etc.,) customized for various constituent groups. The role will also assist the Event Coordinator on event related data entry/gifts processing logistics during peak times of the year.
This position will be part of a team dedicated to strengthening Planned Parenthood’s fundraising efforts and will be required to participate and provide support in activities such as fundraising events.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving, processing, and fulfillment of all gifts in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge from a variety of sources & payment methods/platforms, including the proper recording of funds, gift receipting/acknowledgement letters
- Process all incoming donor inquiries (via mail, email and/or telephone) as needed in a timely and courteous manner & communicate/coordinate with other Philanthropy staff on such contact
- Manage the creation & fulfillment of all outgoing stewardship correspondence materials in support of a comprehensive Stewardship program.
- Assist with prospect management/major gifts coding & systems as needed/requested.
- Manage creation, organization, and implementation of all development/event mailings & emails, including coordination with Communications & Marketing, Events, and other staff; managing materials procurement, production, and fulfillment.
- Provide assistance as member of Philanthropy Operations team in donor database maintenance and data projects, and
- Provide broad in-office administrative support (clerical, telephone, meetings, etc.) for Philanthropy department as a whole, as needed.
- Assist Events Team with event related activities, as needed/requested.
- Participate as a professional member of Philanthropy department in providing effective service to the agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA’S):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience dealing specifically with CRM database (Raiser’s Edge preferred), word-processing, spreadsheet and graphic software.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in nonprofit development operations, or prospect management
- This position is on-site in the Sarasota Office during regular PPSWCF business hours with the ability to work remotely 1 day at supervisor’s discretion.
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the affiliate area (Naples/ Tampa/ Orlando) as requested to attend/work Philanthropy events
- Available on evenings and weekends as needed
- Advanced proofreading skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, with self-direction; ability to pivot/triage strategies during busy times of the year or emergent external circumstances.
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and administrative skills, a proactive approach to communication, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Work effectively with donors, volunteers, staff team, and diverse constituents.
Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of PPSWCF's total compensation package for employees.
