MFG Tribe is a niche marketing firm that caters to nationwide clients in the Industrial Manufacturing sector. We help companies who are good at one thing take care of everything else to get their brands and their voices out to the public.
We’re looking for a self-starting, collaborative creator to fill a junior Content Creator (Videographer/Editor) role. We don't have an immediate need for a full time person but this position will turn into a full time role based on the companies needs.
We have an exciting opportunity to support the rapid growth of (and grow along with) our company and brands at our home office in Austin. This role will report to our Creative Director and, from our main office (and in the field), you’ll shoot, edit, and publish branded content for several social platforms: Facebook, YouTube, Youtube Live, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Live, and the MFG Tribe website.

What you’ll do:
- Work on Company brand video content and Industrial Client work.
- Collaborate with the creative team and MFG Tribe CEO to create and publish an archive of social and video content
- Support the creative and technical production of video projects from start to finish
- Support scheduling and posting content
- Understand Brand Identity and create content that builds awareness, engagement, and community
- Capture content with Canon DSLRs and edit via Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Run cameras for and/or produce live content for LinkedIn Live and Youtube Live via StreamYard
- Monitor and curate brand content on digital asset archive
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong understanding of all social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Youtube, Facebook
- Familiarity and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
- Strong work ethic and team-player approach(this is critical)
- Natural curiosity and willingness to learn, as it pertains to Social Media platforms, shooting video/photo content, and editing video/photo content
- Be reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- At least 2 years of professional experience in filming, editing, and publishing video content, including lighting design, digital asset management, and adhering to file structure
- Sound creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills
- Initiative, and no fear of jumping into untested waters with an open mind and a willingness to learn from failure
- Experience using Teamwork Project Management software(or similar)
- Deep understanding of digital trends and editing principles
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong ability to adapt
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Strong knowledge of basic equipment including cameras/lenses, lighting, camera support, and so on
- Dependable transportation (again, the majority of your work will be in our local studio)
Office Hours
This position will grow into a full time role.
Hours are flexible Monday- Thursday between the office hours listed
Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4pm
Friday: Optional work from home
