As a succesful Dental Patient Coordinator , you will be responsible for the following: :
- Schedule patient exams and treatment.
- Coordinate referral appointments with community dentists.
- Answer phones and address patient questions in a professional manner.
- Attain insurance verification and eligibility for each patient prior to patient visit.
- Enter insurance benefits for each patient into practice management software, including any special requirements or limitations.
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, Employee Handbook).
You will be required to possess the following: :
- Extreme detail orientation and comfort working independently.
- WinOms or other Dental Practice Management Software experience (preferred).
- Three (3) or more years of dental experience (preferred).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
- Professional appearance.
- Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, collecting patient information, and providing general administrative support. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with dental staff.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of data.
- Provide treatment information to patients about their dental care.
- Answer phone calls and emails from patients and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Handle patient complaints and provide solutions in a professional manner.
- Assist in resolving billing issues and other administrative tasks.
