About the Role
The candidate for this position will work on the Research Management team, reporting to the Director of Research, supporting the firm’s Research Department. This role will enable the candidate to work with all sides of the firm, including Sales, Corporate Access, Operations, and management of the Research Coordinators. This role is integral to the firm’s success in driving high quality research to clients by optimizing firm processes and oversight over Research Department functions.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day workflow of the Research Coordinator team, including but not limited to onboarding, training, and ongoing mentorship/support

Liaise between Senior Research Analysts and their teams to develop strategies for workplace efficiency, goal achievement and overall professional development of Associates and Coordinators

Coordinate new initiations of coverage and monitor current coverage (i.e. both new and current Analyst team launches)

Deliver compelling and concise information for internal presentations including monthly department meetings and performance review meetings

Collaborate on internal Institutional Investor campaign strategies

Organize firmwide daily research meeting agendas

Collaborate with Compliance, Capital Markets, and Sales & Trading departments to facilitate capital markets activity and develop product ideas

Serve as primary point of contact for external vendor and aggregator relationships

Provide analytical and/or administrative support by executing special projects as identified by Research Management as necessary to meet the department’s strategic priorities

Coordinate research department performance reviews

Facilitate, execute, and maintain equity product, including but not limited to the Wolfe Alpha List (Best Ideas List)
Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with a proven academic record, preferably Business, Economics, Accounting, Statistics and /or Finance concentration

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills as well as excellent analytical experience, including advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

An interest in Finance/Research with a high degree of motivation to succeed as an individual and in a team environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with strong commitment to accuracy and follow-up

Proactively handle regular tasks without prompting

Exhibit a high degree of motivation, sense of urgency and professional demeanor

Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships and exhibit strong teamwork skills with internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization

Prior CRM experience preferred

The compensation for this role is market competitive with a base salary range of 85,000-115,000. We intend to offer the selected candidate a base salary within this range, based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill set, job-related experience, and location. In addition, we offer an annual discretionary incentive bonus and competitive employee benefits including: medical, dental and vision coverage; life, accident and disability insurance.
