We are looking for a part-time business-minded administrative assistant with a minimum of two years of experience in a production or retail office environment to support our client in a temporary capacity. They expect to need someone in this role to cover a leave of absence for four months and you would work 20-25 hours per week. This role will interface closely with garment vendors and manufacturers to ensure our products meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly proactive, enthusiastic about learning, and a natural problem solver who works well in a team-oriented, collaborative, fast-paced environment. You must be highly skilled in Excel and Google Suite. A Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred. Responsibilities
- Process, Maintain, and track production orders with our Planning team and overseas suppliers of both materials and finished goods according to the calendar
- Manage sample requests and tracking across teams for Merchandising, Salesman, PR, Creative, and Marketing, as well as, partner with Design and Technical Design teams to track all samples and deadlines, escalating any at-risk deliveries. Receive and organize photoshoot and salesman samples, and distribute samples to SF team and LA team as needed.
- Review all WIP emails, communicate the information to the team, and reply to vendors. Also, logging QC Inline/Final inspections into WIP
- Manage replenishment orders and reconcile against fabric commits
- Costing updates in NetSuite
- Coordinate with the Planning team to update purchase orders and PO log
- Work with Planning and Logistics on bulk shipment modes of transportation
- Maintain and update cost breakdowns and confirm final costing before pos are placed
- Add SGS garment/materials testing documents into Centric
- Various other tasks and duties as assigned or needed
