Job Title: Door-to-Door Roofing Sales Representative
Job Overview:
Our roofing company is seeking an experienced and motivated Door-to-Door Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads and sales for our roofing services by going door-to-door in residential neighborhoods and identifying potential customers. They will work closely with our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our roofing services and offerings
- Go door-to-door in residential neighborhoods to identify potential customers
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate customer needs and provide recommendations for roofing solutions
- Prepare and present sales proposals, including estimates, timelines, and service agreements
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers, working within established guidelines and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, proposals, and contracts
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and effective delivery of services to customers
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Participate in training and professional development activities as required
Requirements:
- (Preferred But not Required) Proven track record of success in sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Willingness to learn about roofing materials and techniques
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (Preferably a Truck)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Preferred Skills (but not required):
- Roofing or construction experience
- Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials
- Experience in project costing and planning
Benefits and Compensation:
- Sales Representatives are hired as independent contractors and are paid a commission on each project completed.
- Average Independent Sales Reps with a full sales pipeline can expect to earn between $60K+ depending on your desire to earn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,500.00 - $8,000.00 per month
