DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Canvasses to identify issues most important to the black community via direct street contact, door to door engagement, and deep relational conversations.
- Engages community members and voters around voter registration, voter education, Vote by Mail, and Get Out The Vote (GOTV). Increases Black voter turnout through Get Out The Vote tactics.
- Coordinates community meetings to gather surveys and conduct issue based discussions.
- Follow all required reporting procedures.
- Follows all established safety and security protocols. Escalates any concerns to the Organizer Lead.
- Promotes an environment in which equal opportunity and diversity are valued.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Tabling at local areas in an effort to register Georgians to vote
- Knowing and following all of Georgia’s voter registration laws and adhering to those rules at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion and enthusiasm for promoting civic engagement within the Black community.
- Must be a current registered voter or be eligible to register to vote.
- Legible handwriting is required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours of up to 30 hours per week. Some Saturday/Sunday event participation is required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

Compensation:
