Front Desk Receptionist: Hair Salon
Every great salon starts with an amazing guest relations team to keep everything running smoothly. You will be the first person our guests see and the last person they leave with at The Salon. We pride ourselves in our ability to maintain an exceptionally clean and welcoming environment for our guests and staff members. Our front desk team is seeking someone who is eager to learn, reliable, and detailed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform data entry in the front desk computer system.
- Schedules clients appropriately for the given stylist and their preferred methods of booking.
- Checking clients in and out.
- Handling cash as necessary.
- Maintaining an exceptionally clean salon space by sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows and mirrors, cleaning wash bowls, doing laundry, restocking items in the salon and break room, and overall thorough sanitation.
Experience: Previous front desk experience preferred. Experience in the salon industry is a plus.
Must have: Ability to work independently; Excellent organizational skills; Attention to detail and accuracy; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Flexibility to work various schedules to meet the needs of the facility
